Netgate® is pleased to announce the Release of pfSense® Plus software version 23.09 and pfSense CE software version 2.7.1.
Highlights in these releases include the upgrade of OpenSSL to 3.0.12. This change was essential because OpenSSL 1.1.1 has reached End of Life (EOL) and will no longer receive security patches for vulnerabilities. Other changes include the addition of Kea DHCP as an add-on feature and several other enhancements and fixes.

TNSR Software Version 23.11 Targeted for December
The Release Candidate (RC) of TNSR software version 23.11 will be available by December 1st. Major changes and features in this release include:
Remote access IPsec (Mobile IPsec) support
RADIUS external authentication
Command output filters
VPP, FRR, and Clixon upgraded to versions 23.06, 8.5.3, and 6.30 respectively
